I have been editing the recordings of all these amazingly brave and resilient women. I am creating a video and have spent HOURS on editing. I am learning a lot about technology and it doesn’t always cooperate. However, I am also learning a lot about the programs available on my Mac. I had been a PC user forever, I still use a PC once in awhile and use one at school/work but I am becoming much more familiar with my Mac. I am learning how to create video with iMovie and am also learning how to use Garage band but not quite as familiar with this yet. The majority of work being done is with iMovie. I am thankful for this time. I wouldn’t have been able to learn all that I am learning if it wasn’t for time. All of it is trial and error and if you don’t have the time to fiddle, test, figure the program out, I think it would have take even longer time to learn. I am finding, however, that I do forget once I learn how to use a particular tool, etc. I just got to be continuously doing, continuously practicing. Huh, it’s similar to learning a new language, like Italian, for example. If my students don’t use it, don’t practice, they’ll forget. Anyway, I have been working A LOT on editing and the more I listen to these women, the more I learn, the more in awe I am of what people can do; what people can tolerate, get used to, change, grow and teach others. I am grateful to be doing this and to have been given the time to do it.Comments are closed.
