The Story of Silence

sabbatical logs

4/11/2016

I finished the lesson on conducting an Oral history in your classroom, finally.  The lesson can be adapted to any subject matter.  I believe there is great value in implementing a project like this in the class.  The experience is educational and extremely personally rewarding for the student and I believe for the teacher as well!  I plan on adding more lessons based on the interviews already on the Story of Silence site, which will be for subscribers and plan on adding more interviews that may not all be WW2 related.  I would like to provide subscribers other resources as well apart from lessons.  All a process and with time it will be refined and I believe a great resource for both the novice and veteran teacher.  It will also be a great resource for anyone who enjoys learning and views learning as a life-long experience.
